With SimsForHire, the day of the week isn't what moves your simulator quote. Our published rates are per rig per day: $2,750 for a full-motion rig (every rig we rent is full-motion), with a $2,000 event minimum, all plus tax and insurance, and the price list has no weekend surcharge. What changes the total is how many rigs you book, staffing beyond four rigs, branding and delivery distance. Your date matters more for availability and for your other vendors, especially around Miami's busiest weekends.
What actually changes the simulator price
- Rig rate: $2,750 per full-motion rig per day, plus tax and insurance.
- Rig count: volume discounts on the rig subtotal of 5% for 2–3 rigs, 10% for 4–5, 15% for 6–7, 20% for 8–9 and 25% for 10 or more.
- Staffing: included for up to 4 rigs; from the 5th rig, $1,500 per day for every 3 additional rigs, plus tax and insurance.
- Branding: custom branding from $500, plus tax and insurance.
- Distance: delivery is free within 50 miles of Miami; beyond that, we quote delivery on request.

Why the date still matters
Availability
Our fleet is 10 full-motion rigs. On Miami's biggest weekends, more than one event wants them. Examples for planners:
- Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix: the 2026 race weekend ran May 1–3 at the Hard Rock Stadium complex (Formula 1).
- Art Basel Miami Beach: December 4–6, 2026 (Art Basel).
If your event lands near dates like these, book early. Otherwise, we can book with as little as 24 hours' notice.
Weather for outdoor dates
South Florida's rainy season runs May 15 to October 15 (NWS Miami), and the Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, with most activity from mid-August to mid-October (National Hurricane Center). An outdoor date in those windows needs a covered or indoor backup.
Your other vendors
Venues, caterers, DJs and hotels set their own rates, and some price weekend nights differently from weekdays. Ask each vendor for their rates on your exact date and a weekday alternative before you lock it in.
Ways to get the most from your budget
- Book rigs for one event, not several small ones. Volume discounts apply to the rig subtotal of a booking.
- Plan staffing breakpoints. Staffing is included up to 4 rigs; extra staff are added in blocks of 3 rigs, so 7 rigs cost the same in staffing as 5.
- Stay within 50 miles of Miami for free delivery.
- Book early around big Miami weekends.
