Three kinds of Fort Lauderdale venue suit a sim racing event: the Broward County Convention Center for trade shows and large corporate events, waterfront estates such as Bonnet House for private parties, and hotel ballrooms or offices for client nights. The convention center is about 25 miles by road from our Miami showroom, inside our free 50-mile delivery zone.
Broward County Convention Center
The Greater Fort Lauderdale / Broward County Convention Center lists 1.2 million square feet of space, an Atlantic Ballroom with an Intracoastal view and an Omni headquarters hotel. It is the natural choice when simulators are part of a bigger program:
- Trade show booths: a rig with a leaderboard gives attendees a reason to stop. See trade shows.
- Conference receptions: a few rigs in a pre-function area or ballroom.
- Sponsor activations: branded rigs from $500 for custom branding, plus tax and insurance.
At a convention center, the show's rules decide move-in times, electrical orders and where cables can run, so share them with us early.
Bonnet House Museum & Gardens
Bonnet House spans 35 acres on Fort Lauderdale Beach, and renters get exclusive use of outdoor settings such as the garden courtyard, waterfront veranda and the beach; it also hosts corporate events. It is a striking backdrop for a private party or an executive dinner. Because the settings are outdoors, plan a covered, level spot for the rigs, a weather backup and a power source; screens and electronics need shade.
Hotels, offices and private homes
Many good sim events happen in ordinary rooms: a hotel meeting room during an incentive trip, an office lobby for a client open house, or a living room or garage for a birthday. All a rig needs is a clear, level spot, a path in from the street and nearby power. We confirm the exact space and power requirements when we quote.
What to ask any Fort Lauderdale venue
- Where can a truck unload, and is there a ramp or elevator to the room?
- Is the floor level, and is there power close to the setup area?
- What does the venue require on a certificate of insurance? We are fully insured in the United States and send certificates on request.
- What are the setup and teardown windows?
- For outdoor spaces: what is the rain plan?
