Dealerships in Miami book racing simulators to give event guests something to do besides look at cars: a hot-lap leaderboard at a model launch, a VIP owners' night, or a customer appreciation event. A simulator does not replace a test drive, but it gives guests a hands-on reason to visit the showroom and talk to your team. SimsForHire has run private dealership events in Miami.
Why showroom events still matter
Online tools haven't emptied the showroom. In Cox Automotive's 2025 Car Buyer Journey survey of 2,300 buyers, 53% completed every step of the purchase at the dealership, only 7% bought entirely online, and 63% said the ideal process mixes online and in-person steps. If buyers still come in, the events that bring them in are worth doing well.
Event formats that work
- Model launch nights: unveil the car, then let guests race on a leaderboard. If the model or a sibling is available in the racing software, ask us whether we can load it.
- VIP and owners' events: an invitational race with a trophy, for current owners and prospects together.
- Service customer appreciation: a weekend of open sessions while cars are serviced.
- Car meets: dealers already back enthusiast events; Supercar Saturdays Florida, for example, is presented by Lamborghini Broward, Bugatti Broward, Koenigsegg Florida and Exotics on Las Olas. A branded simulator gives a dealer a presence at that kind of meet beyond a parked car.
What a simulator can't do
Be clear with your team about the trade-off. A simulator won't show ride comfort, seat feel, cabin noise or visibility in your car. It is an engagement tool, not a product demo. Use it to draw a crowd, start conversations and collect opt-in contacts, then hand interested guests the key for a real test drive.
Showroom logistics
- Clear a level space between display cars, with a path from the service entrance.
- Identify power near the setup; we confirm requirements when we quote.
- Decide on branding: wraps in your brand's colors start at $500, plus tax and insurance.
- Send your certificate-of-insurance requirements; we are fully insured in the United States and provide certificates on request.
Pricing, and permanent options
Full-motion rigs are $2,750 per rig, per day, with a $2,000 event minimum, all plus tax and insurance. Staffing is included for up to four rigs. Delivery is free within 50 miles of Miami; farther than that, we quote the delivery fee on request. If you want a simulator in the showroom year-round, we also sell and lease simulators.
