In Aventura and Sunny Isles Beach, simulator events usually happen in resort meeting rooms, oceanfront lawns, condo party rooms, private homes and waterfront event spaces. Most of these rooms are mid-sized, so the room sets how many rigs fit. Outdoor events in Sunny Isles Beach that need a city permit should be filed at least 60 days ahead. Both cities are in Miami-Dade County, within our free-delivery radius of 50 miles from Miami.
Venue examples and what they mean for rig count
Acqualina Resort (17875 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach) offers meeting space for 10 to 55 people or events up to 120 guests; its Mediterranean Ballroom hosts up to 100 guests, and oceanfront lawn areas can be tented and air-conditioned for larger affairs (Acqualina). At that scale, one or two rigs is usually plenty, placed where people waiting can watch.
Aventura Arts & Cultural Center rents a 330-seat theater with a 40-by-30-foot stage, a waterfront setting with two outdoor patios, and valet and self-parking (Aventura Center). A lobby or patio activation before a show or private event is the natural fit.
Condo party rooms and private homes are common for birthdays and private parties. Before the date, check with building management about freight elevator booking and whether they need a certificate of insurance from vendors. SimsForHire is fully insured in the United States and provides certificates of insurance on request.
Permits in Sunny Isles Beach
The City of Sunny Isles Beach requires a special-event permit for events held in the city, including beach events. Applications need a site plan, fees, deposits, insurance and indemnification, and must be submitted at least 60 days before the event to Code Compliance at the Government Center, 18070 Collins Avenue; larger events of 750 or more expected attendees can require City Commission approval. If your event is entirely indoors at a hotel or condo, start with the venue’s own rules and ask the city if you are unsure.
Oceanfront and outdoor events
Keep rigs under a tent and in shade: full sunshine can raise the heat index by up to 15°F (NWS). The National Weather Service also warns that tents are not safe in lightning, and to wait 30 minutes after the last thunder before going back out (NWS). Plan an indoor fallback. Our outdoor planning guide covers the rest.
